Rest In Peace

It is with great sorrow that I acknowledge the sudden death of Bella Sinclair's beloved husband. In a few days, Bella and her two daughters will be leaving Japan and returning to the United State as planned. Her blog friends and visitors have closely followed the preparation for this trip home, and it is almost beyond belief they will arrive with a loss beyond anything that words could describe. "We are survivors," Bella says on her blog. Indeed. She is an inspiration to anyone who knows and follows her. Her illustrations are always a joy. She is the first to laugh--her irrepressible wit always nearby--and she is the first to offer a heartfelt comment. If you wish to offer condolences, you can do so at http://bellasinclair.blogspot.com.
.
Bella, my heart bleeds for you and your girls tonight. But I know you will be okay. I know that for sure.
.
You are loved.

  2. Thanks kj just left a message on her post but I'm betting she'll be offline for a while. What a fuck of a thing! Jesus . .it's never easy is it? Just as they're planning to come home. Brought a tone of memories back for me too I'll tell you. If there is a God he/she's got a bloody lot to answer for! Poor thing, my heart goes out to her in ways' she'll never know.

    Jesus, it's just wrong.

    love you Kj.

  5. I am a man. Nothing more than that. So it is reasonable for me to wonder at other mens capacity to blame and curse God for the death that surrounds us Baino.

That mankind has not thought this out and in their grief and rage misplace responsibility saddens me more than the passing to sleep in the house of ones ancestors of a beloved person.

  11. thank you for informing us here kj.

I feel so sad and heavy too.
I am wordless, such a good husband and partner of bella don't deserve such a sudden departure.
Sometimes, I also ask God why all the good people got to pass away so early.....so like my parents, uncle.....recalling my sorroe!

It's such a beautiful tribute to bella. KJ, your words are very healing and thoughtful!
    This is what Bella needs:)

  13. KJ...*shrug* Mankind has always had a need to direct responsibility. When a person dies whether it be suddenly or after a long lingering illness is it God, that is the bringer of that death? Or is it a drunk in a car, a medical problem, a fool with a gun robbing someone, a war, or , or or, or... If it is God, then I say them of the greatest faith should absolutely move furthermost away from all commune with that spirit which created all we know.

God authored life. And if you apply Christian theological thinking God authored the defeat of death through the resurrection of the man, Jesus, The Christ in order that we may live eternally.

Them of the greatest faith know of the constant strain between life and death in this mortal world, it is them of the least faith that will have a need to blame God. God has nothing to answer for and no one to answer to.

That said, the first e-mail I got this morning was from my young poet friend who's mother died last night from breast cancer. So again I repeat the caution...Women a mammogram may hurt but it is necessary, Get yours scheduled today if you have not had one in the past year.
