JB, Liz and I were up and out by 5:25am.

Sunrise was at 5:46.
.
We weren't prepared.
.
It was magnificent.
.
We were astonished.
.
.
It is a short steep walk
from the parking lot
to the beach.
Before the sun came up,
we didn't know that
the sky would be blue-pink.

And then it began:

It was not yet 6 am. We drove around:

It was beautiful.
.
.
All so very very beautiful. We too have enjoyed some ocean time...not the early sunrise, but pretty sights. Glad you are only thinking enough to enjoy yourself. Keep on...and yes, you look very "kind"! Someone I'd like to meet!

ReplyDeletethe Sun - awakening to show (most of us)- another glorious day. Mr. "SOL" seems to have forgotten those of us who live on the West Coast...but, your photos show us - he really STILL is there! ;)
Your photos take me back to David Lean's "Lawrence of Arabia" (which I saw a few weeks ago).... breathtaking shots of the sun rising...and yours are just as spectacular!
