heh, heh! I have this big grin on my face, because I know exactly what you're going to feel like at the end of this weekend, having had many of them. I loved every single minute with my grands, but oh! how TIRED I was when they were picked up!
As you know, I've moved and can't do the weekend thing at the moment, but I'm so looking forward to moving back and doing it again and again and again. Hang the tiredness!
Sounds as if you are a doting grandmother. I only just joined the club as Henry is 5 weeks old. Came to your blog via Sarah Laurence , a fellow writer. All best wishes from New York.
I feel it! Only you left out the hugs, and squeals of delight. And your smile. Watching, waving at the tail lights. Only to be ready to do it all over again!
Haha . . sounds pretty hectic. Potty training alone is the most time consuming of chores! I'm still not ready to be a nana but then, that's not likely any time soon! Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
I feel this post to the depths of my soul. What a lovely way to spend your weekend, have so much fun and laugh till you cry, it cleanses the soul!! Love and huge hugs. Cheerios everywhere!!!
how sweet and perfect, your weekend and the way you wrote about it. I remember all those things clearly, and with much much joy. you are living the moment kj.
your novel in a paragraph was so beautifully written, it truly was a complete story, i don't know how you do it.
now hopefully my computer will behave and i won't have to keep losing touch. Have a wonderful sunday dear kj.
I envy you ;-). Have fun! xoxo

Wee ones grow up so fast don't they? Seems like only yesterday that my (almost) 15 year old was into all those things in your post...
ReplyDeleteGood weekend! I feel the same way about my weekend with the new kittens (though mamacat takes care of everything and I can just nuzzle them!)
