Some things are just plain good to know:
.
You cannot cause a shadow to disappear
by trying to fight it, stomp on it,
by railing against it,
or any other form of emotional or physical resistance.
.
In order to cause a shadow to disappear,
you must shine light on it.

ReplyDeleteOr go into the darkness...
ReplyDeleteI love this, KJ -- thank you!
ReplyDeleteAnd those images from the blizzard are amazing ... the power of this planet is awesome. Some say how can God do this? But I read somewhere that God isn't in the destruction ... He/She is in the aftermath when everyone picks each other up and helps rebuild.
I don't make shadows go away, I get rid of the people.
ReplyDeleteDon't believe me?
Check out my posts on my blog: September 4 & 5 of last year.
True!
ReplyDeleteRed Mojo said what I was going to say before I could say it. Great minds think alike.
ReplyDelete*BLING!* *BLING!* and more *BLING!*
ReplyDeleteI can see this either way - you can shine a light within the darkness or embrace it as it is - both make the darkness less frightening.
ReplyDeleteding, ding ding. that is the bell that just went off in my head!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteLol, but I like my shadows... don't even wanna fight 'em or make them disappear. They are evidence that I am in the light ;)
