I am well aware I haven't been posting my own photos or poems lately and that is because I haven't been taking photos and I haven't been writing poems. That is about to change. I'm just about well again and it's springtime--good news for me. In the meantime, blogger has allowed me to upload some of my favorite faces, but only a certain number. No explanation is necessary other than these are faces I love. And I hope some or all make you smile.
Love

A final word from kJ's New England Journal of Medicine: rubber noses having healing powers.
If we get to vote--and I guess we do, otherwise why would I be voting?--I choose the goat, the puppets, the eucalyptus, the dog, and the birds in no particular order. I'm sure YOUR vote would be tilted toward the humans, maybe the children in particular.
ReplyDeleteBut what about that old piece of wood that Emily rabbit swore was a fellow critter? :-)
ReplyDeleteI like that you voted, snow. My favorite is my Jess with her boys: one with hat and the other with nose(s)
Xoxo my friend
I love all the pictures Kj...but for me...the nose's...yes indeedy..I love the noses!!xoxox
ReplyDeleteHi cat, but some for your family, would you? I guarantee the effects. I will send you a reward if you buy some noses .
ReplyDeleteHeehee- I mean it!
♥
are we voting here? number one all the way. i loved the show cats and i'm hearing the song memories echoing in my brain.......wasn't the main character grizabella? number two - a tie between those adorable boys and stella.
ReplyDeleteso glad you and your dear mom are feeling better.
hugs,
amanda

Amanda, that photo is my partner JB at Halloween in Provincetown. After I read your comment I told her she won a beauty contest :-)
DeleteAnd now 'memories' is in my head too--one of my favorites
♥
Love them all, really, but the ones with the kids I enjoy the most. Glad you are feeling more up to par, Karen.
ReplyDeleteThanks Barbara, those are the pictures that will always be fresh in my heart and head
DeleteXoxo
I see a lot of faces I love too!
ReplyDeleteI am happy you put your face in there too :)
Glad you are feeling better and Spring has arrived.
It has been nice and sunny here 2 days but I was away....... :(
Came home late yesterday evening and now I woke up and now it is foggy.
Well I guess I just have to wait a little more.
♥M
Hello, welcome home! I hope you have brilliant sun today , Marianne . I wonder if you will have a paintbrush in your hand and if so will it be a little one or a big one ?
Delete:-)
I love the moose branch....or the hippo branch...? Ack! No matter. I love it! And your face :) So engaging. Yes, spring suits you my friend. So glad you are feeling well and all that wells up will find it's capture through your lens or pen.
ReplyDeleteThat is a California branch, Annie :-)
DeleteThank you for saying my face is engaging--my head swelled immediately
Now I look like a conceited balloon

Lots of love in these faces.................healing hugs from me.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lynn

Let's far it, the pictures were awesome. The first one seems like a face of a clown, bringing joy to one and all. I also liked the pix of stella, the goat, and emily's look-like. The Humans were pretty good, too.
ReplyDeleteSpring is too good not to be enjoyed. Even with the rain (this is day four for us).
Blessings and Bear hugs.
Hi bear, I hope you get some sun. I am just about ready to enjoy mine. Working today but it's good to feel better.
DeleteThinking of you xoxo
kj Tell your daughter to not put that hat on the kid...it makes him look like Walter Matthau in Grumpy Old Men. Yes lovely faces all around but nothing lovlier than a kid with a head no bigger than a baseball wearing a nose as big as Washington's on Mt. Rushmore.
ReplyDeleteNow get up get moving, you've been slacking off long enough! [;-0}---
Mark, no hat is not going to fly at the beach. But hahaha Walter Matthau indeed
DeleteI'm moving, thankfully finally. I get to write this morning before work. Love that. Speaking of love, yesterday's poem is a gem. Have you heard of the coltan poetry conference? Have you heard of rocket hub? Because i think it's your time if you can handle it xoxo
I mean coltrane, mark....check it out
DeleteI am glad you are feeling better! This post was most enjoyable, as I think each image is wonderful for its own sake. But that top photo is really stunning. Submit it to the photography section of your state fair, if you have a state fair and if the state fair has a photography section. Of course, only if you are so inclined to do such things. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Lydia, whoa am I behind in your blog, comments only. I am still marveling over found in translation.
DeleteJB is an Iowa girl so your state fair suggestion will tickle her
♥

ReplyDeleteSuki, ♥'s times 100

A difficult choice to vote...... but...I have to go with Stella...although I have always adored the one of JB - the *Lioness*.. really ALL of them are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteMost wonderful is that you are feeling better...stronger....and moving around in the Springtime air! I hope every day is warmer and brighter... (the park must be glorious now)!!!
I hope Emilwee is *behaving* herself....
Love and Continued Strength,
♥ Robin ♥
Thank you wrobin. Now I'm wondering who JB saw herself as!
DeleteIt really is a beautiful time of year here. Many flowering trees and the start of an active garden here at # 9. I'm glad to be upright and moving again. Hope all is super duper with you xo
Now them's are some pretty nice faces, although the sheep did startle me!!! Brawny Man purchased an owl yesterday. Right now it is perched inside a window, looking out, until the shade screen man comes tomorrow for installation...The Mister is hoping to bribe him to install the owl too! **happy smiles** Deb
ReplyDeleteYou may have to keep that owl moving, deb. :-). Good that the shades go up tomorrow; I hope the neighbors won't feel bored because of it :-)

ReplyDeleteThat is all.
