Ah Yes

Funny thing, how gratitude seems to work.

I am thinking through the lens of gratitude more and more; thankful for what is and not spending a lot of time lamenting or worrying. It is definitely an easier way to be.

This is my approach for the holidays. So far so good.

    1. Mark, I thought of you as I wrote this; I swear I did and do. If you lost your special important edge, would you be more or less happy?

    2. Happiness is ethereal. It is a train that runs on time but is often late. I have no edge kj, 'cept the place where map ends, the place where dragons live. I strive for contentment and peace, those are the human qualities that so often elude me.

  5. I've been reading lately about gratitude as something which helps people overcome depression. Seems good to me.

  9. I find it easier to maintain an air of gratitude if I avoid crowded stores because, otherwise, I just feel pissy.
