For weeks, Ces has been asking me for pictures of New England's famous fall foliage, but the peak colors only appeared two days ago. And they are stunning. Here's a sneak-peak. They'll be more to come, but, for anybody who's not sure about God and the universe, this should at least confirm there is a Spiritual Interior Decorator.
.
We are anticipating our foliage tour in a few weeks-the leaves in Eastern Oklahoma are still green.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing-I'll share some photos when I get them. Come on TREES!
PS Not *another* post about Ces!! :) Seriously, in spite of my fall colours post (you probably missed it) there's no question that east coast trumps west coast in this department. Gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteLove love love the fall. When I lived in LA, I missed trees--when I came back east, everything looked so much GREENER and fall blew my mind. I had forgotten.
ReplyDeleteSee you tomorrow?
debra kay, i lived in norman for a year or so!
ReplyDeleteandrea, hahaha. i guess i can't help myself...
kris, i know what you mean. you can take the colors for granted until you move somewhere else. tomorrow night: yes!
Okay, so if I wasn't hungry enough to get to New England next weekend ... I AM NOW! Lovely shots! I hope it's cooler up there, it's going to be 80 tomorrow ... sob.
ReplyDeletekj,Beautiful fall shots. I want to take some too! :)

ReplyDeleteOh yes, if you move to Australia you loose this splendor - ah, I love the fall, Thank you very much for sharing these Gorgeous photos of a gorgeous time of year!
ReplyDeleteKj, I love the last photograph best because the clouds provide a dramatic contrast for the magnificent foliage. I miss living in the northeast. Fall was my favorite season. Here, fall means literally just that. Dried leaves falling. Oh goodie, another post with my name in it! :-)
ReplyDeleteHAHAHHA "spiritual interior decorator"! I love the last image ... so dramatic!

Gorgeous photos, can hear the leaves crackling.
It's quite amazing! We took a drive on Sunday afternoon, and it was just perfect...warm weather, brilliant foliage, and good spirits all around. We think that next weekend might be the peak weekend in NW CT/MA... but who knows? Some trees are getting bare while others are still green. Thanks for sharing these photos:>
ReplyDeleteI can understand why, KJ!
ReplyDeleteGORGEOUS!
ReplyDeleteWe've got some color here in the DC area, but the dominant color is brown. Thank God it's finally raining today.
These are soooo beautiful kj. I wish I could someday see foliage like that in person, not just in pictures.
