Imagine a friend who travels across the ocean, her mandala paintings in hand, a gift for you complete with totem explanations, complete with her amazing 11 year old boy, complete with the comfort of new-old friends spending time and giving thanks, now glowing in the front hall
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Imagine being three years old and being invited into a wild wheelbarrel for a wild ride around the yard, first alone, then with your brother, giggling while the the silly wind slaps your face
.
.
.
Imagine sitting alone on a quiet morning watching the leaves fall in slow motion, one falling after another
.
.
.
.
.
Imagine planting a crop of lollipops and harvesting them just in time for afternoon snack
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
Imagine watching Cloie in the garden while she shows you her new dance steps
.
.
.
.
And imagine stepping out your back door and being greeted by a single brilliant leaf, reminding you that where you fall is where you're supposed to be.
.
.
Happy weekend, all.

Another beautiful poem with pictures to match. I enjoyed this, especially the wheel barrel ride! Whee!!!
ReplyDeleteMarianne's mandalas are so beautful and you framed them so nicely. They must make your house SHINE!!!
I remember sitting on the red couch as you and JB opened your beautiful mandalas. Of course I knew she was giving them to you but I promised to keep a secret ;)
ReplyDeleteThey look wonderful in the hallway.
Look how good JB looks pushing the boys in the wheelbarrow! You two are becoming the babes you have wished for!
I love the last part. Where you fell is exactly where you're supposed to be.
Nice nice nice.

Kim Tak Goo (Love, Bread & Dreams Korean Drama) said, "How can I still smile when bad things happen to me? If I have a good day, it won't be the last. If I have a bad day, it won't be the end. I have to be happy because I have to live. "

There is beauty, joy and happiness in and out of #9! Messrs. Ryan and Drew with their Auntie JB (finder of lost earrings) and the wheelbarrow.....ADORABLE! Such a reflection of love and life!
ReplyDeleteMarianne's mystical, magical mandalas! Having them framed and hanging in all their glory creates a corner of grace and lovliness that enhances your wonderful home!
The yard.... so full of joyful memories....
Love abounds here.

ReplyDeleteJB looks like she's having a hell of a time with that wheelbarrow. I wonder how you can track that exercise? "running with wheelbarrow - 1000 points"?
