It made me think of my dear grandmother who our family took care of in her own home own for many years before she had to go to a rest home. She would always ask me whenever I went over to get her up on weekend mornings - "Am I in my own home?" Like your mother, her memory wasn't so great, but her mind was still good and we had so many laughs and great conversations together. Your mother sounds so wonderful, and I am happy that you found a place for her to live that's nearby. Your are blessed to have each other!
