Thursday Thirteen

What a bear it is to prepare and pack to move. Even though I've done it before, I had no idea. I am dreaming about boxes and missed deadlines. Exhaustion reigns throughout #9.

So I'm posting from older photos to tease myself into believing that, like before, better times are coming. Maybe you could use a hopeful reminder too.

Meanwhile, please pray for me. Even if you don't believe….

  1. I love your photos and the sense of hope they convey. There is also a yearning, almost wistful element that I pick up. I hope the logistics of this move go smoothly and that you enjoy your new home.

    1. Hello e, nice to make your acquaintance. You're so right about my feelings: almost too tender.

The logistics are not smooth. I hope the end is in sight!

  14. Darling girl, I hope that you have now moved and are settling into your new home by the sea. It will be good; wonderful even. The sound of the sea, the smell of the salt air, an exhaling of breath, a letting go. Wonderful.

  15. I will also be moving at the end of the year and I'm also not looking forward to it. It is definitely a lot of work and I feel for you. I do love the pictures you chose in thinking of better days ahead. They are all great pictures and wonderful distractions... :)
