Happy Time

A celebratory weekend with JB and friends in Provincetown. There are both person made and natural decorations all around in this coastal community.  We are doing everything and nothing at our leisure.

Another achievement in my holiday list of seeing, doing, and sharing with special people and places.

I am still grateful.  I hope this may be true for you too.

  1. I am just crazy enough to adore the house with all the lights on it - lol. And your decorations are so lovely. I'm enjoying this time, and I know you are, too! xox

  2. I am always trying to hold back on decorations at our house. Less is more, I believe. But, my daughter is insistent, so I will give in until she leaves for college and then I fear that I will be a true scrooge and be lucky to have a tree every year!

    2. Sounds like I'm in for a Hallmark Christmas, what with being a crotchety old man who is really a sweetheart underneath, but has hidden it ever since his wife was killed by a drunk driver while on her way to deliver pianos to an orphanage for deaf kids .

    3. Good thing you 've survived that drama with your crotchetiness intact, snow :-)

I read that there was a plan to replace the undelivered pianos but the orphanage wouldn't hear of it

      :-)

I AM grateful - every day, yet am often still cranky - how does that work?

love the lights - in brooklyn there are lights and more lights and even more as everyone outdoes the other person - it's great. in stow....we are "tasteful". Boo!!!

  11. Kj, Looks like you are ready and having fun. I have been sick, so not much into the Christmas spirit, seems to be coming too fast and soon. No cards made or sent out this year, so I will say it here, I hope you have a most wonderful Holiday!
I am most grateful for recovery and dear friends that I will be spending the holidays with.
Wishing you the very best. xoxo
