Damn Good Reasons

I have spent the last month in a daze. Too busy, too tired, too hyped up.

I know better than to let stress or worry get the better of me. But sometimes all you can do is hold on and know that the sun will most certainly sooner or later rise again.

I also know it's not wise to want something or some result so much you can't bear the thought of not having it. But sometimes all you can do is hope to be calmer and wiser the next time around.

I wasn't sure what I would blog about tonight, but as soon as I began I knew I wanted a reminder of all that is good and right in my life. There is plenty. Come along if you'd like, but this post is mostly for my own human self. :^)

  1. Oh wow! Just wow! Those are such beautiful pictures — great scenery, adorable people (Jess, and the rest of the family), tacky flamingos, amazing Chase (and Stella, too).

Only thing missing is a picture of emily jj rabbit. Who I trust is behaving herself, though I expect she is not. Sigh!

    Blessings and Bear hugs!

    1. I love that you know Jess' name, rob mr bear.

Emily has been strangely quiet. I shudder to think of what she is up to. I refuse bail money if I can help it :-)

  2. Dear KJ, a simple yet expressive piece of writing.. and that is where the beauty of this post lies. The photographs are so lively specially the "TRY" with blue stones.

  3. You never did read MAD magazine did you? "What me, worry" Or did you buy copies just to get to the back folding covers? Kiddo you know it is perception that slows or speeds time. You have pictured simple things that please you there ya go keeping it simple.

    1. Mark yes I read mad magazine :-) I didn't always understand it and true I was more into Frankie Avalon and Veronica and Archie

Damn do I try to keep it simple! I just keep choosing complicated paths! Buying and financing a little house near the sea is not for the faint of heart ( nor for a limper with a torn miniscus).

I was glad to remind myself of all this color

You do have abundance. Even I do too, in spite of it all.

  10. I sure enjoyed the photos, KJ, and am now caught up with your posts.

I wrote to you yesterday, but it bounced, so I checked to see if your address as given in your blog profile had changed but it hadn't. The reason I wrote was that you've twice objected to my genderfication of God, so I wanted to fully communicate my thoughts about that. Anyway, here's some of what I said:

"I answered your comment on my blog twice, the second time at length. I also referred to it in my first response today [which is now yesterday]. In that response and the ones after it, I went into detail regarding my views about anthropomorphizing God in relation to gender."
