  1. This reminds me of the Julianne Moore character in "The Kids Are All Right" which I saw (and thoroughly enjoyed) last night. BTW I've been reading your blog, KJ, just haven't been up to responding. Keep writing!!

  5. I kissed the dog and the dog won. Well, perhaps not. I wonder if the cat has also kissed emily rabbit, and how that went.

How did Ray Stevens put it?
Kiss a pig, hug a swine,
Some of them are good friends of mine.. . .

Funny. I was talking about Ray Stevens at Saturday's funeral, and I forgot this song. But I did remember "Everything is beautiful in its own way."

It's late; I'm tired. No wonder i'm rambling.

    Blessings and Bear hugs.

    1. Ramble on, bear. This is an interesting free wheeling piece of writing and sharing thoughts. I like it.

But no award for kissing anyone except the kiss itself. Even dogs know that

      Xoxo

  10. I did dare to kiss someone who rather surprised me by kissing me in the first place. What transpired surpised me even more ... and it changed me on a fundamental level. It made some hitherto very puzzling things make a lot more sense.

... I'm not at all sure she'd like being described as a dog though. Ha! xx Jos

    1. I too have been changed by kisses, jos, overtaken even. No regrets

And in some cases I'd be proud to be compared to the love of a dog

  13. Abby dog used to kiss her kitties every night. I think they actually miss it, and I know they miss her. I kiss kitty Willow right on the lips and she knows she is special. ^;^

  14. I kiss two dogs and a cat daily, and believe or not, they kiss me back. McKenzie jumps up and twirls and jumps some more and finally I give in and kiss him and he just looks drunk after that. Aliah rolls over and put her face up, princess entitlement I guess to have me bending over her near the floor. Colette rubs her body against my side and purrs for treats and for a kiss. So there, I kiss dogs and cats and proud of it.(I kiss humans too but you didn't ask about that)
