An Inside Joke That Didn't Start Off That Way :)

.
I am telling JB about this research by Virginia Satir that says to grow and be healthy we each need at least twelve hugs a day.
.
I clarify that it doesn't need to just come from people.
.
"Stella counts," I say.
.
"What?" JB asks.
.
"Stella counts," I repeat.
.
"How high?" she asks me.
.
"What??" I say. I have no idea what she's saying.
.
JB looks confused. "How high can she count?....And how do you know she can count?"
.
hahaha.
.
Sometimes communication takes its own twists and turns.
.
hee hee hee.
.
I will not have great internet access in Provincetown. I will try my best to leave comments when I delightfully visit my delightfully favorite blogs, but if I can't, please know even though I may be quiet, I will be present!
.
Love
kj

  6. Oh, that is too funny and sounds much like some conversations between Daniel and me. But Winslow would agree - I am sure he can count and I have a suspicion that he uses our phone when we are gone... Have a wonderful vacation!! Love, Silke

  10. twelve hugs a day sounds great to me. Thanks for your email and kind thoughts. Heart still saddened and missing my dear faithful kitty.

Love the misscommunication. so hard for us humans to communicate for sure. Years ago I read Virginia Satir and very much liked her. Have a great time on vacation.

  15. Oh those beautiful, wise eyes of Stella.... and assuredly, she can count and does count! (Janet is too cute.....)

I have always been a hugger too....it's such a wonderful way to communicate....even when words will not come. And, as animals love 1,000,000 percent - hugging them should count triple!

I know you are going to have a wonderful time in P-town. Wonderful "visitors", wonderful meals, wonderful days in the water and on the shore.

Sending you and Stella many, many HUGS and a lot of love,

    ♥ Robin ♥

  17. If you and JB had no other redeeming habits (impossible to imagine), I would still love you both to pieces because you love Stella. Precious, precious, pooch.

This is gold star in your crown stuff.

  18. Hugs... you've seen that hugs video? The Australian man that had no money at the airport and decided to make a sign saying free hugs.... if not go to utube and type in free hugs.... so many are doing it...

Ok now I'm so glad to know I can hug my cats, trees, plants....

: ) Have a good time on your vacation... I too am on vacation in California!
