Fillins

.
.
.
.
.
I left my camera at Lolo's.
.
I should be in bed by now.
.
I want to post something.
.
These photos are strictly for visual
and a wee bit of creative interest. :)
.
Have I posted this poem before? Lolo will know.
.
.
I wonder when I will start writing poetry again, in earnest? I am pretty sure I have a serious essay to write first, and I have two novels--one in need of promotion and one in need of writing--that keep calling to me.
.
.
But in a nutshell, here's what's going on with me. Some things never change. :)
.
.
Enough
.
I’ll be damned
My head is crammed
With thoughts of flying
Crying
Drying
Eyeing
Lying
Prying
Sighing
Spying
Tying
Vying
And maybe even
Applyig
Allying
Decrying
Defying
Denying
Retrying
Supplying
Undying
And even possibly
Semidrying
Catalog buying
Instrument flying
And
Forever trying

  1. I guess the wintry photos must make you guys back East a little nostalgic about now from what I've been hearing about your heat wave.

  2. I heard you had a good time yesterday - good food, good friends.

  3. I can't believe how the Universe supplies me with such abundance.

    Two cameras now!!!!!!

    hahahahahahahahahahahahahah :D

I think I'll sneak a peek and see if there are any secret, private shots on there.

Oh forget it! I'll send it back to you. We should have taken photos yesterday. What a wonderful, relaxing afternoon with great company. Tell JB there's still a lot to poke through in here!

    Let's do it again soon.

  4. Oy hugs you! there is a philosophy that if you leave things at a friend's house, it means you want to go back. I drink a drink of warmth to you and Lolo, Semillon Chardonnay and send you love.

  5. snow, this fill in post of mine wasted a perfectly good visit from you! sigh....promise you'll be back. xox

mim, a VERY good time. old shoe comfort. soft slipper connections. high heel creativity. gee, i've turned into a shoe store!!

lo, (said softly, with a tone of gentle adoration): let's do it again times 10,000 over the next 30years. and we understand one another!!! how great is that?! you were the perfect hostess, from start to finish. jb and i had a great time in wonderful surroundings. go ahead and peek at my saved photos. i dare you. :)

baino, when you are here i'm sure you will meet lo. and mim. etc. i actually can't believe you and i are so far from one another! see, we managed to squeak out a true friendship through the ocean and over the skies. xoxo

  7. Darn you! I was HOPING for some photos of you all together, enjoying Lo's DEE-Licious menu!

But, I immediately thought like Baino - leaving your camera behind means you want to return!

I like these photos a lot.... but, as I am living in a permanent state of Winter these days, they made me too cold....more "sun" photos please....more gardens....more warmth....

Nothing is better than sharing the day, no matter the weather, with loving friends.... I was there with you in spirit!

    Love,

    ♥ Robin ♥
