  1. Oh! Mr. Ryan! Skin is never more delicious than this, on a child asleep. Utterly captivating.

  2. Don't try to figure out that last sentence. My finger rested to long on the keyboard, time for coffee.

  5. Very, very nice. But you know, I find the first photo of the glass bottles particularly striking.

And trust me, you aren't the only one laughing at my foolishness - I am, too! :)

linda, kllllllllllllllllllllp to you too. and a smooch too. hee hee.

ribbon, it really was a great holiday, except of course being away when renee died. xoxo

annie, mr. ryan is totally kissable. one time he told me to 'chill down, gram'. he's only 3 so i thought that was hilarious :)

cs, i like that first photo too. and nothing wrong with our healthy giggles... xo

  8. Mr. Ryan reminds me so much of my Graydon...or The Grader (his nickname)! They are both the same age and so totally huggable and kissable. Graydon is very independent and headstrong (he has no difficulties in telling others off, if he has had enough)! He is a true Aries...the first one in our family.

Love your photos...wish I'd been there!

  9. marion, if you ask mr. ryan to do something he doesn't want to do, he says with great fanfare, "no way!"

but then he ususally comes around. i like that the grader and mr. ryan are the same age. you and i can chuckle together for years to come ♥

  12. Beautiful Blues!! Everywhere.
    What a relaxing color.
I am so glad you had a colorful time.

Thank you so much kj for your comment on my iron angels . I always wondered what it would be like if inanimates could talk, oh the stories they could tell, eh! Sort of like Emily, but she is very animate.
I love the way they contrast each other in the total image of the Iron angel.
I am excited to see what I do too. I have some little images in my head but the path is still a bit foggy!
Love and hugs, have a wonderful weekend.

  21. What a fantastic time you had kj. I love the drawings and the photos. I appreciate the tinge of sadness you must have experienced as well ... which really can also serve to highlight the joys (make them deeper somehow). Take care.
