Animal Wednesday: Emily on Love

Hello Everyone, it's me, Emily.
.
Today I just thought I would remind you not to get too caught up with chores because if you do that you could forget to have fun and forget to be nice to people who are nice to you or might be nice to you if they knew you.
.
This reminder might be extra important around Valentine's Day.
.
Oh, and don't forget not to let anyone push you around and if they do you can either fall on the floor and scream while you are kicking your legs in the air, or you can tell them to take a short walk off a long pier.
.
The point is to be nice to yourself first. That is a special secret I am sharing today. I added this point just now because I don't want anyone getting the idea that I am becoming too nice because I am really alot more fun when I whine and cry when there is a good enough reason and when I get in trouble and this might be true for you too.
.
So Stand Up For Love and Stand Up For Yourself!
.
Sincerely Yours,
.
Emily. V. V. Rabbit
.

*p.s. happy Valentine's Day to my best friend Marianne :>) and to you too.

  1. Oh, I love it! And it's so important not to forget to have fun or spread the love... Winslow and Ramses (our dog and cat) remind me frequently to just take time to play and enjoy life... Pets and children are wonderful for that, aren't they?! Love, Silke

  6. silke, what do winslow and ramses do when they are mad? do they kick their feet in the air or throw frozen peas? i could teach them....

annie, i am giving this advice this one time for free because it's V V day.

lori, you are very funny, you make me laugh because you are smart too. you would get in trouble with me, wouldn't you? i think you would. and do you like to roll down hills? i know how to do even the high ones. kj says ♥

    most sincerely,

    emily

  7. mim, you are Very Vastly Vivacious, but i am keeping my initials a secret for now because one of the words might not be a nice one and even though that would not be my fault because i didn't name me i don't want anyone getting any wild ideas because i am still a little rabbit, afterall. ps. what is a vestal virgin? i might be one. are you?

ms. sonia, you painted those ducks? are they my friends? (you know who, especially f---- duck). or are they nicer like fluffy and tuffy and muffy duck? thank you for liking my heart. i like yours too.

    yours truly

  8. Oh Emily! this is such good advice! You are a very wise Rabbit. I read your post to my two dogs, Lucky and Nate, and they said even if they chase Rabbits all the time, they would probably not chase you, since you might have a lot to teach them!

I told them they weren't allowed to chase you ever. They hung their heads and promised they wouldn't. So, you see, you could come visit and just enjoy life...and you wouldn't have to be afraid of two pesky dogs who think life is made up of chasing things.

    Happy Valentine's Day!

  9. dear lucky and nate, i have a friend who chases dogs and the dogs love it but listen to ms. marion when she tells you i do not like to be chased because how in the world could i cry and whine and throw a temper tantrum while you were chasing me? do you think you can run faster than me? okay you probably can because i am just a little rabbit. i am glad you will be nice to me because if kj ever visits marion i'm coming too and you will have to promise me in person that you will be nice nice nice and if you do then i will not sneak up behind you and pull your ears or your tails. okay?

    sincerely,

    emily rabbit

  10. kj misses her friend renee like crazy. even i think it's not the same without her comments so i am going to tell her she has to come back even if the bats tell her not to. do you think she will mind if i tell her that, because i don't want her to feel pressure or anything but kj is sad without her and when kj is sad she is not as much fun as usual, which even then is not as much fun as i am. anyway, maybe i'll just wait and hope that kj's friend renee is okay and no bats and then see what happens from there.

    kj loves her.

    yours truly

  11. ms. soulbrush, love shmove shove above a dove. don't be grumpy today because i think you are going to find a lucky charm that makes you laugh outloud and if you don't i think you should laugh anyway until you want to cry instead, but if you do that don't forget the kicking your feet part because that makes all the difference. do you want lessons?

    fondly to you,

    emily r.

  13. ooooh, I like this advice Emily! I think I will try standing up for myself. The first person I will tell that to is ME!

And I love the love part. I do love some bunny. You, of course and many two-footed creatures as well ;)

Love is a good thing but it's even better when it's shared.

  15. Dear Emily,

I have the perfect solution! Order up a blizzard! I have made pancakes with Lucas, watched movies with Patrick, and made all sorts of things involving glue and scissors all by my little lonesome. There are no chores being done here. Even shoveling has to wait until the wind decides to stop moving the snow from one pile to the other.
    Happy Valentine's Day to you!
xoxoxoxoxo Pam (extra x's and o's because of the holiday)
