Speaking of Light...

Have you ever noticed how uncomfortable it is when you know full well that you are turning a corner, aware of the ground and place you are leaving, but completely in the dark about where you will land? I'm pretty sure I'm at one of those turning points, waiting for guidance, bracing for change, hoping for the best.
.
Meanwhile, last night I looked around and saw light. It was an ordinary night: jb on one couch reading and I on the other studying my tarot cards. And yet the light looked different. It glowed differently in every room. I take this as a good sign.

Sometimes you need to look for a sign from the Universe that all will be well.

  2. I think it is a good omen that you saw all this light of differing sources. The photos are lovely. You are at a turning point, as am I. Being on the threshold of change is sometimes a teetering place. Love the old radio. Does JB have heat out there?

  3. There's a very inspiring link on Mim's blog about "the now." I think it's in one of her posts about being home and feeling better when she read that. I emailed it to a bunch of people but I'm not sure if I sent it to you. If not, I meant to.

The light is nice in your house. You have some sweet old pieces of furniture too.

Anyway, I know the Universe is showing you the way. Listen... Sometimes it's the slightest whisper ;)

Your home looks so warm and cosy. I can imagine sitting down and chatting over a brew then having my cards read :D

And with such lovely light around your home, its extra wonderful that you could see it and see it with knowledge. I love the light in your photos of your home! The whole place looks so cozy and inviting. Enjoy :)

  7. I'm glad the lights are glowing. I am also at a turning point, and have yet to see that glow - but keep hoping for the signs

  8. cs, i look for signs too.

suki, true, it's hard to teeter. sometimes i choose to and other times i have little choice. i don't know which it is this time around. the old radio was my aunt's. jb has a propane heater out there and the space is toasty warm. here's to a good year, suki.

lolo, i read mim's link. i loved it and will read it again. 'the slightest whisper': i like that. :)

miladysa, kj babes would like nothing better than to serve you a brew and read your cards.

ces, maybe the tarot cards brought the light :)

lavender, it's a cozy home. but i don't know why or how the light
    seemed so vibrant...

mim, along with suki, we'll keep a collective eye on our turns and twirls...

  9. Great omen! (and great photos) In Quakerism, when someone is in need of support, we say that we are holding them in the Light. Sounds like you are being held warmly and lovingly ... trust ... xo

  10. Yes - you've chosen to see the light in all its colors, bright, filtered, reflected. That s a good sign. I wonder what your tarot reading gave you, and if it connects at all to your observations of light.
