First Snow

This fulfills a special request to show the first snow as it is occurring outside my New England windows. I cannot provide a higher quality of ambiance because I cannot venture outside with my current right knee hobble.

So here it is so far. I am sooooo glad we have firewood nearby. There will be a fire at # 9 before the sun sets.

  1. Ooooooh!...and it is 79 degrees here where I can see sun everywhere. The cold front will come on thursday, just in time for Thanksgiving. i hope everyone is safe. So is everyone staying at home? Down here when it snows, it is incelement weather and everything stops, well, almost everything, except the doctors, nurses, paramedics, police, firemen, essential personnel have to go to work. Enjoy your fire KJ. Be warm and safe. Love love love!

  2. ces, i can't imagine the differences in our weather--especially since aren't we meeting for coffee later this afternoon?

jb is working, cars are on the road. unlike maine, new hampshire, and vermonters, we do tend to overreact to the first snow but it all settles down. meanwhile, i still haven't found a snow plow person. ooops. gotta do that!

  6. I love snow, the pureness and the whiteness makes my heart light. If only it would dissapear in one go too, instead of leaving a mess for days

  7. I like pictures of snow better than the reality of snow in my yard!

  8. Wow, snow. We hardly ever get snow in the North of Belgium.
The south is highter, we get snow there. But never when I'm there.
I spent a week over Christmas there some year ago. It was the warmest Christmas ever, I sat on the porch with a coffee and my paper in a sweater every morning.
